A small island. A shared responsibility.
Our purpose is to help people discover Sri Lanka’s wildlife, give photographers meaningful credit for considerate work, and encourage informed care for the natural world.
We begin with a public species guide and a gallery that clearly separates licensed editorial inspiration from reviewed community photographs. We do not invent wildlife observations, conservation statistics, partnerships or rescue outcomes.
Discover. Document. Protect.
- Discover: explore wildlife photography and a species directory with named scientific and editorial sources.
- Document: contribute photographs through an approval and review process when photographer submissions open.
- Protect: put animal welfare first, protect sensitive locations, and use official channels for wildlife concerns.
An independent conservation community.
WildHeritage Lanka is not a government department, rescue organisation or emergency response authority. We do not claim a government or conservation partner affiliation. Official contact information is provided as guidance, with its source and check date.
